A) PREPARATION
1. All surfaces (inside and outside) to include stator, end bell, rotating assemblies and parts are cleaned
2. All parts are fully inspected and tested as applicable
B) ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL
1. Stator is preliminary tested, baked and dipped
2. Stator Windings undergo the following test in accordance with applicable NEMA standards:
a) DC Hi- Potential Test (if required by client)
b) Coil Surge Test
c) Polarization Index Test
d) Stator and Rotor Laminations checked for Hot-Spots
3. If test results do not meet NEMA standards, the stator windings are replaced with new Class F (or better) VPI windings.
4. The rotor undergoes the following test:
a) Test for Soundness
b) Checked and brought to proper concentricity
c) Shaft run-outs brought to proper tolerances
d) Dynamically balanced (fans balanced separately on TEFC motors)
5. All components are inspected for integrity and fit. All mechanical fits are brought to proper tolerances
6. All ball bearing units are replaced with new bearings
C) FINAL ASSEMBLY AND TEST PROCEDURE
a) Full Voltage Test Run
b) Vibration Analysis Test
c) Phase Balance, Starting and Unloaded Amperage Checks
d) Bearing Temperature Checks
e) Shaft run-out checks
f) Magnetic center shaft scribe on sleeve bearing units
12 MONTH WARRANTY IS EXTENDED FROM THE DATE OF SHIPMENT AS PER OUR STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE."
